How can you go wrong with smoked salmon quiche recipes?  It turns a simple meal into a gourmet feast. This smoked salmon and zucchini quiche is one of my favorite dishes of all time as it is dense in protein, healthy fats, and vitamins. I like my quiche to be tasty and inexpensive.  This quiche meets all the conditions. A petite piece of salmon or so can feed up to 6 people. The zucchini adds taste along with the goat cheese and olive oil bring it all together with a wonderful freshness. The perfect combination to take this salmon zucchini flavored quiche to the next level.

Smoked Salmon and Zucchini quiche

Serves 8
Preparation: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 35- 40 minutes


  • 4 oz. heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated goat cheddar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 5-6 leaves fresh sage, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz. Alaska wild-caught smoked salmon
  • fresh ground salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 quiche crust
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • 5 eggs
  • 8 oz. milk


  • Number 1 Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  • Number 2 Roll out crust and place in 9-inch pie pan.
  • Number 3 Cut zucchini in 4 length-wise, then cut into cubes. 
  • Number 4 In a skillet heat olive oil. 
  • Number 5 Add garlic and zucchini. Cook until just tender. 
  • Number 6 Remove from skillet and arrange it on the bottom of the quiche crust. 
  • Number 7 Cut salmon into 1/2 inch pieces. 
  • Number 8 Arrange with zucchini. Add shredded cheese.
  • Number 9 In a mixing bowl beat eggs slightly. Add cream and milk and whisk until blended. 
  • Number 10 Add nutmeg, sage, salt, and pepper. 
  • Number 11 Pour mixture over salmon and zucchini.
  • Number 12 Bake at 450 for 35-40 minutes or until the filling is set and golden brown and the crust is golden.

Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
